Plenary Talk at IMCS 2025

Prof. Andreas Güntner delivered the opening plenary lecture at the Intl. Meeting
on Chemical Sensors, IMCS in Freiburg, Germany, attended by ca. 300 participants.
Cell Biomaterials on Microneedles

We demonstrated the direct 3D-printing of hollow, polymer microneedles onto microfluidic chips for interstitial fluid extraction. Research led by Tiago Elias Abi-Ramia Silva et al. in collaboration with the University Hospital Zürich.
Chemical Reviews on Selective Chemoresistive Sensors

We reviewed the latest progress on materials (MOx, metals, conjungated polymers, TMDs, MXene, MOFs etc.) and filters for selective sensor design. Led work by Hamin Shin et al. in collaboration with KAIST, UC Irvine and Hanyang University.
Small Structures on Porous Metal-Nitride Films

We introduce a template-free method for the design of highly porous metal nitrides and demonstrate its impact on molecular sensing. Research led by Adrien Baut et al.
